Mark CholijMark Cholij is a graduate of Cambridge University (St Catharine’s College) with a dual Honours degree in Spanish and French. He also has an MA in Latin American Studies from King’s College, London University. As a fully qualified teacher, Mark has a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) and, having worked in the state sector, is registered with the Department of Education as a recognised and efficient teacher of Languages. Prior to his appointment as Head of the English Language Centre at Cavendish College, Mark held a number of posts of responsibility including Head of Spanish (Silverdale Comprehensive School, Sheffield), Head of English (College of Central London) and Director of Studies (Eden House College. London). As well as being an experienced teacher, Mark has written a number of language books including ‘Passport to First Certificate: Rapid Revision’ (Macmillan) and ‘Practice in Spanish Grammar’ (Nelson Thornes). He is best known for a popular series of English language books published by Cambridge University Press: ‘English Basics, 1,2,3: Practice and Revision’.
