Introduction to the School of Interior & Architecture Design

School of Interior & Architecture Design is a dynamic and creatively engaging space dedicated to the study of interior environments. It introduces students to the art and practice of designing interior spaces, combining creativity with technical knowledge to address functional, aesthetic, social, and environmental considerations in contemporary design.

Within the school, students develop both creative and technical abilities through drawing, drafting, model making, digital design tools, colour theory, furniture selection, and material studies. The curriculum often emphasises sustainability, accessibility, building regulations, and problem-solving, enabling students to design interior environments that are both visually engaging and practical for contemporary use.

The School prepares students for diverse career opportunities in interior design, space planning, exhibition design, furniture design, visual merchandising, hospitality design, and design consultancy. By combining studio practice, research, and industry awareness, it provides an inspiring setting where students can turn ideas into professional design solutions.

The Interior & Architectural Design School offers three professional diploma programmes in interior and architectural design, alongside more than 60 specialised single-subject certificate courses.

The certificate courses allow students and professionals to focus on individual subjects and develop specialised knowledge in specific areas of interior and architectural design, supporting both career development and continuing professional education.
