Diploma in Interior Design

The Diploma in Interior Design is a structured, practice-oriented programme designed to develop both the creative and technical skills required for a career in interior design. The course combines design theory, historical knowledge, technical drawing, rendering, and material understanding with practical studio-based learning. History of Design & Styles (1) is an EQF Level 3 module that introduces students to the historical development of art, architecture, interior design, and furniture styles from 4000 BC to the early 20th century. Over 30 hours, learners will explore major design movements from Gothic to Neoclassicism and Empire styles, as well as Victorian and Revival influences. The module also develops the ability to recognize and analyze English, French, and American furniture styles up to 1900, providing students with essential historical and stylistic knowledge that supports creative development in interior design.

Sketching

Sketching is a practical design module that develops students’ visual communication and creative presentation skills for interior design.
