Marjan RavandiMarjan was born in 1989 in Tehran, Iran. She is an Oud player, and her first instructor was Maestro Mansour Nariman and the next Mr Ali Pajuheshgar. She graduated from the girl’s music school of Tehran, then she joined University of Applied Science & Technology and studied playing of Iranian music instruments. Marjan was the youngest member of the Iran Public Orchestra with the directorship of Maestro Farhad Fhakerddini and also, she was he first Shahroud player on stage, and played for Souratgar album that was signed by maestro Salar Aghili. Later in 2010, she joined Simorq Orchestra and since then she has had many collaborations with maestros like Homayoun Shajarian, Hooman Kkalatbari, Hamid Motebasem, and Mohammadreza Darwishi. She also had joined the maestro Hengame Akhavan’s group called Bahar.

Marjan had been teaching Oud in Music University of Applied Science & Technology since 2006.
